With heavy hearts, the world has seen the images of our beloved Houston underwater. 2016 has brought record amounts of rain in very little time; it has been estimated that we got one month’s rain in only an hour. The consequences have been dreadful. Hundreds have been displaced, thousands of households were left without power and our thoughts go to the families of those who have lost their lives during the flood. Ashford Communities wishes to help displaced families in Houston.
Our apartment communities pay movers cost
Ashford Communities’ 11 apartment communities are located in Southwest Houston and we open our doors to families who have suffered displacement due to the severe floods, providing them a home at our communities at a reduced cost. All our communities are eager to help, for a list of our locations please click here. One of the most affected areas in the city is Woodlake/Briar Meadow; right in that zone, Ashford Westchase and Ashford Willow Falls stayed unharmed by the rains and, in hopes to help the families, our apartment communities will pay movers cost so that they can move into a warm community of friends.
“Ashford Westchase and Ashford Willow Falls open their doors to the people in need. Our apartment communities pay movers’ cost for flood victims in Houston to ensure the families have a place to call home” says Bushra Majeed, from Ashford Communities.
Please let our representatives know if you are aware of any families seeking a home so that we can provide a helping hand.
